This year, Armenian Cultural Association of BC is participating in West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest Join us at the West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest, a vibrant two-day celebration of food, music, and culture! Armenia Pavilion, a vibrant celebration of Armenian heritage where tradition and renewal come together through music, dance, art, and the enduring spirit of the Armenian diaspora. Friday, June 6, 4:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Pavilion features:
Gadag Bar dance: Enjoy a captivating traditional courtship dance performed in costume, followed by Shourjbar, a joyful circle dance open to audience participation.
Needlework display: Admire the intricate artistry of Armenian embroidery and lacework. Guests are invited to try cross-stitching the first letter of their name in Armenian.
Music of Aram Khachaturian: Experience the timeless compositions of this renowned Armenian composer through live piano performances.
Oud and Guitar Performance: Delight in soulful interpretations of Armenian folk music performed on oud and guitar.
Ancient manuscripts & alphabet wall: View historic Armenian texts and learn to write your name using the unique alphabet.
