I Decided To Fight Documentary

A powerful evening of resilience and hope.

• On February 6th, a large and enthusiastic audience gathered at St. Vartan Armenian Church's Setrak Kalpakian Hall, for a special screening of "I Decided To Fight", presented by the Armenian Cultural Association of British Columbia.

• The documentary follows Shahen, Seyran, and Edmon; 3 Armenian soldiers whose lives were forever changed by war. With the support of Zinapah, they are rebuilding their lives with courage, humour, and unwavering hope.

• We were honoured to welcome Executive Producer Hasmik Egian in person. Following the screening, Director Joe Penney and Seyran Soghoyan, on of the film's heroes, joined us live for a powerful panel discussion that moved and inspired the audience.
