Alliance Française - "Monsieur Aznavour"

On January 16th, 31st, and February 26th, 2025, the ACA of BC in collaboration with Alliance Française, co0presented Monsieur Aznavour, a compelling portrayl of the life of the legendary French Armenian singer and songwriter.

Originally planned as a single screening, the overwhelming interest from both Armenian and French communities led to three screenings - two at Alliance Française and one at Simon Fraser University. Each screening opened with a presentation by the ACA of BC introducing our organization, our mission and reflecting on Aznavour's cultural legacy.

This successful collaboration also led to ACA's Chairperson Anita Desjardin, being interviewed on Radio-Canada's Culture and Confiture on February 22nd, 2025, to further highlighting the Armenian community in Western Canada.
